Howard Street through to Rochester Court final surfacing for highway and footway has commenced with fencing erected to secure the site area. Noisy works will commence after 8am with all key stakeholders having been informed. This work will continue until Tuesday 10th August, 2021.
As part of this works Howard Street will temporarily close to vehicles from Sunday 8th to Tuesday 10th August. This is to allow the contractor to work in the area between the crossings and lay tarmac.
All deliveries to Strand Street will enter via Regent Street exiting via Castle Street. Granville Street and Senna Slip will be closed to vehicles for this period. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout.
We would ask that motorists drive into the parking spaces on the seaward side of Loch Promenade and reverse out. This is due to fencing in place This temporary change is to assist driver’s re-joining the flow of traffic heading north. Once two-way traffic flow is returned to Loch Prom, the seaward side will revert back to reverse parking only.
Loch Prom is due to open for two-way traffic by 19th August 2021.
